Guide to Install M.U.G.E.N - Part 2

Hi M.U.G.E.N-Fans!!

Welcome to the 2nd part of the guide to how to install Mugen on your computer. You should have completed the 1st part, if not, you should do that right now.

You should have played the game already and maybe you know Kong Fu Man and his missing opponent Suave Dude, who has never been created by the developers.

But since it is boring to play with just one character on just two stages, we are going to see how to add more characters. First of all, we are going to download a screenpack called EVE-Battle, which stands for Everything versus Everything. It lets you add more characters (up to 10,000 instead of six in the original game) and you can easily select them from an updated interface.

So this is how you install the screenpack:
  1. Go to this page and scroll down, you will find a link to the download. The screenpack is about 13.5 MB big, but the download should not take to long.
  2. Open up the zip file and open the folder "EVE Battle" in it. Copy the three folders and files in it and go to the folder where you have Mugen installed. Now, right-click and paste the files in the Mugen-Folder. It will ask you if you want to override the files, select "Yes to all."
  3. Now open the /data-Folder in your Mugen-Folder and open the /EVEvolve-Folder in it. Copy the files in the /EVEvolve-Folder and paste them into the /data-Folder. Now go back to the Mugen-Folder and start Mugen again! The screenpack should be installed and it should look like the picture on the top of this entry.
Once you are done, go to Part 3 and see how to add extra characters!

Have fun today!!
Lord James
